The HostBridge Hippie
Bringing SOA Love to Planet CICS
HostBridge unveiled the hippie in July 2009 to celebrate CICS’ 40th birthday. He continues to appear – and evolve – in CICS Spotlight monthly newsletters, Mainframe Executive, and HostBridge venues.
Why the hippie? The year was 1969 – Apollo 11, Woodstock, CICS! – and the love still lives. As our ad says, “If CICS still guides your planets, let HostBridge steer your stars.” If you depend on CICS, the most powerful transaction processing system across the universe (possible exaggeration for sake of Beatles reference), HostBridge can take you higher with high-fidelity XML/Web services and CICS process orchestration for web-enablement, application integration, and SOA.
And we want to share the love. Order an art print or poster, find a screensaver or desktop wallpaper, or – what could be hipper? – download white papers about CICS integration and HostBridge
Hippie Art
Put him up on your work space wall – or in a public area around the office if you too want to share the love. Choose a 6”x9” print or 18”x24” poster. Order here.
